The Braves moved into first place in the Doherty Division this weekend after collecting wins over the Delhi Travellers and Paris Mounties.
On Friday, the Braves welcomed Delhi to town. Tavistock got out to a quick start scoring four goals in the first period, eventually skating to an 8-0 win. Leading the way for the Braves was Josh Borys and Josh Helgerman, both with 3 points. Anthony Nardi collected his third shutout of the season in the win.
On Saturday, the Braves travelled to Paris to take on the Mounties. Tavistock’s special teams were put on display as the Braves scored all five of their goals on the powerplay, taking the win 5-1. Jensen Van Boekel was solid in net making 32 saves.
The Braves next home game is Friday November 23rd as they host the Wellesley Applejacks. Puck drop is set for 7:30PM.
