Entering the third period, fans were offered extended looks at the Flyers special teams, in both the power play and penalty kill made frequent shifts. While the penalty kill was successful, the power play on the other hand was not. The Flyers would cushion their lead with a pair of goals, including Cameron Armstrong netting his first career goal and Robinson adding a second.

The first line of Robinson, Maddux Rychel and Dyaln Weston were lethal on offense for the Flyers as they combined for 5 points.

"I think last year playing with Robinson definitely helped and Weston came up, we've been playing well in training camp and just been clicking," said Rychel. "Tomorrow we'll have a big test against St. Thomas at the end of a back to back."

Rychel added that it was great for the rookies to get on the scoresheet. "Confidence is everything in this league and to get one right away is just getting the monkey off their back."
