The Intercounty Baseball League announced its year-end award winners today.  Brantford's David Mendham was a unanimous choice as an IBL first team all-star at third base for his stellar play this season.  Mendham was also runner-up for the league's Rookie of the Year award, being narrowly edged out by Toronto's Garret Takamatsu by just 2 votes. 

Mendham was previously recognized as the Brantford Red Sox's Rookie of the Year for his outstanding play during his inaugural IBL season. Congratulations on an outstanding season, David!
