The North Middlesex Stars have hired Brock Pinnell as an Assistant Coach for the 2018-19 PJHL Season. Together with Head Coach Matt Melo & fellow Assistant Coach Kyle Mitchell, Pinnell will help round out the Stars coaching staff for the upcoming season. Pinnell will be tasked with handling a solid defense core with his counterpart Kyle Mitchell in charge of the offense.
Pinnell, 25, will get his first opportunity coaching in the junior ranks but rejoins North Middlesex after a stint in Parkhill as a player during the 2012-2013 season. The native of Strathroy also spent time with the Strathroy Rockets, Alvinston Flyers, and Kincardine Bulldogs.
"Brock is a great add for our staff here in North Middlesex," said Stars Associate GM/Head Coach Matt Melo. "We've always concerned ourselves with putting good people in places to succeed and to help others succeed and I think that is exactly what we've done here bringing in Brock. He's a great guy with a lot of different experiences that we can all rely on and he's going to help everyone around him be better."
Welcome to the Stars family, Brock!
