The North Middlesex Stars are pleased to announce the team has signed two more players for the 2018-19 PJHL Yeck Division Season.

Austin Crouch, 19, who was acquired from the Strathroy Rockets of the GOJHL last month will rejoin the Stars for the 2018-19 season after obtaining some valuable Jr. B experience to close out last season. The native of Mt. Brydges and graduate of the Mt. Brydges minor hockey program looks poised to take on more of a role with the Stars this time around and will provide some familiarity to his teammates as the 2018-19 Stars roster continues to take shape.

Liam McCarthy, 16, will return to the crease in North Middlesex for the 2018-19 PJHL season after a great rookie campaign last season. The native of Strathroy backstopped the Stars to 4th place in the Yeck Division standings last year and has been hard at work all summer to ensure he’s ready to follow up that performance this upcoming season.

McCarthy, a graduate of the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs AAA program was also named to the Yeck Division’s Prospect team for the 2017 PJHL Prospects Day festivities in New Hamburg, an opportunity that will be open to him again this season.
