PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JOE PISCITELLI, LONG ISLAND LIGHTNING

Joe Piscitelli (LIU Post), went 10 for 15 during the week.  Piscitelli added 6 RBI's and 4 stolen bases to help lead the Lightning to perfect 4-0 week.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK:

JOE PIZZINGRILLO, LONG ISLAND NOR'EASTERS

Joe Pizzingrillo (Pace University) takes home the Pitcher of the Week Award for the second week in a row.  Pizzingrillo picked up his third win of the season by defeating the Astros by tossing 5 scoreless innings.  The Pace University right-hander has not allowed a run in his last 15 innings of work.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

KIERAN DOWD, LONG ISLAND SOUND

Kieran Dowd (NYIT) batted .416 during the week.  Dowd helped the Sound to a 3-1 week with 8 RBI's and 4 runs scored.
