Date:  Source: OJDL - Ontario Junior Development League

The Toronto Patriots won the 2017-18 Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season championship.

The franchise’s entry in the 2018 Ontario Junior Development League is on a similar path.

After three weeks of OJDL play, the Pats are 2-0-0 (not all scores have been reported).

Jack Wren scored two goals to lead the Patriots to a 4-2 victory over the Burlington Cougars in Oakville Sunday.

Tucker Robertson assisted twice for the Patriots, the same as Burlington’s Jacob Macdonald.

Sponsored by the Ontario Junior Hockey League, the OJDL dropped the puck on its fourth season this month.

Two five-divisions have begun play. Games take place in Oshawa and Trenton in the East and Etobicoke and Oakville in the West.

Games are scheduled for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday this week.

All OJDL teams will take part in the loop's annual showcase this weekend in Oshawa. Fans are welcome.
