It was a great weekend in Kamloops for the Premier Bantam Eagles. The team finished as the #1 seed overall after the round robin which included 2 mercy wins against Kelowna and Cloverdale. They went on to defeat Cloverdale (17-10) again in the semifinal to advance to the finals. The championship game saw the Eagles soundly defeat the Edmonton Prospects with a six inning mercy rule victory of 8-0.   The Bantam Premier Eagles enjoyed a consistently powerful offense and a tight defense in every game.

Manager Aaron Witzke, praised his players, convinced that their play during the tournament showed the potential of the team. "Throughout the weekend, the team played together as a unit, and controlled what was in their ability to control -  effort, attitude, and commitment. I have told the boys that they were a special group, and this weekend they made my words ring true. I speak for the entire coaching staff when I express my excitement for what the future holds for these players. We will continue to work hard and play the game the right way."

Manager Witzke thanked all the parents who made the trip and supported the team, "they are equally a part of the success we had this weekend."
