The Stayner Siskins have won the 2018 PJHL Carruthers Division Championship in five games over the three-time defending champion Alliston Hornets. Stayner had the best regular season record in the entire PJHL this year and proved their mettle in the playoffs by beating their arch rival the Alliston Hornets in the Championship Series. The Hornets were seeking their fourth straight Championship (PJHL Carruthers Division/ Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario Junior C) and tenth in 11 years, but the Siskins have successfully ended their run and claimed their first Championship title since winning the 2004 Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario Junior C Championship.
The Stayner Siskins will now represent the Carruthers Division in the PJHL North Conference Championship against the winner of the Pollock Division. In the Pollock Division Championship Series, the Mount Forest Patriots currently lead the Walkerton Hawks 3 games to 2.
