The Lakefield Chiefs have repeated as Orr Division Champions after beating the Port Perry MoJacks in Game 5 by a score of 5-1 to claim the 2018 Cougar Cup. Last year the Chiefs defeated the Clarington Eagles in four games, and they have now won four of the last six titles; Central Ontario Junior C Hockey League Champions in 2013 and 2014 and now PJHL Orr Division Champions in 2017 and 2018.

Lakefield now advances to the East Conference Championship where they will face the winner of the Tod Division Championship series between the Port Hope Panthers and Amherstview Jets (Port Hope currently leads that series 2-1).
