The Port Hope Panthers and Amherstview Jets will meet in the 2018 PJHL Tod Division Championship Series.  Game one of this Championship series is on Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 PM in Port Hope. 

The Panthers are playing in the Tod Division Championship (previously the Empire B Junior C Hockey League) for the fourth straight year and have reached the OHA Schmalz Cup Championship the last three years. The past three years Port Hope has faced the Napanee Raiders but this year they will face the Amherstview Jets who upset the top-seeded Raiders in seven games in the Tod Division Semifinals. The last time the Jets reached this stage of the playoffs was in 2014 when they lost to the Picton Pirates in five games. Amherstview’s last Championship team was in 2009 when the won the Empire B League Championship before losing in the Schmalz Cup Semifinals to the Alliston Hornets.

The winner of this Tod Division Championship will advance to the PJHL East Conference Championship against the winner of the Orr Division Championship. Let’s take a look at how these two teams matched up this year.
