DVCHC AMERICAN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS ARE SET

Date:  Source: ESU Ice Hockey

The Warriors will be partaking in their first playoff game since they lost to Alvernia 6-2 in the semifinals all the way back in 2013. ESU will be traveling down to Aston to take on the #3 seed from the West Division, John Hopkins, on Friday night at 6:00pm. These two teams only played each other once this season back on December 2nd at Revolution Ice Centre as JHU took an 8-6 victory after a 5 goal outburst in the third period led the way for their comeback. ESU also lost twice to JHU last season, both by scores of 11-4, so they would love to end the losing streak and move on to face either Salisbury or Bucknell on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals. The Championship game would be at 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon. The other quarterfinal matchup involves PSU Harrisburg and Rutgers-Camden as the Scarlet Knights snuck into the playoffs as the #3 seed in the East division thanks to a Widener lost on the final day of the season. They will be playing right after ESU and JHU at 8:45pm on Friday night. Come on out and root for the Warriors as they look to capture their first conference championship.
