The Abington Ice Hockey Varsity team defeated Hatboro Horsham in a dramatic, come from behind, nail biter to close out the regular season at Hatfield on Friday night.  The team's record is an impressive 12-3-1, which earned them a trip to the Suburban High School League (SHSHL) playoffs.  The Ghosts won both of their non-league games this season against two teams in the league's AA division. In next week's playoff match ups, the Varsity squad will face off against the third seed, Lower Moreland Lions, who they bested twice in the regular season. The game will take place at Revolution Ice Gardens at 8:45pm on Wednesday, February 28th.  At the same time Wissahickon will be playing the Hatters. The winners of these games will face off on Thursday, March 1st at 8:50pm at Hatfield Ice Arena for the Championship.
