Hespeler switching divisions

The Stayner Siskins finished the regular season with the best record in the PJHL with 40 wins in 42 games and then swept the Orillia Terriers in four games to advance to the Carruthers Division Semifinals. The top seeded Siskins will face the fourth seed from Penetang as the Kings took out their rivals from Midland in six games. The first game of the series between Stayner and Penetang is set for Thursday, Feb. 22 at 8:10 PM at Stayner Memorial Arena.
The number two seed Alliston Hornets have advanced to the Carruthers Division Semifinals after sweeping the Schomberg Cougars in four games. The Hornets will now face the Caledon Golden Hawks who staved off elimination in a come-from-behind overtime victory in game six and third period comeback in game seven to beat the Huntsville Otters. Game one of the series between Alliston and Caledon is Friday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 PM at the New Tecumseth Rec Centre.
