The Braves managed to earn 3 out of a possible 4 points this weekend, skating to a 5-5 draw with New Hamburg and a 5-4 Overtime victory over the Paris Mounties.
Friday night, the New Hamburg Firebirds visited Tavistock for what could be a potential playoff preview. A back and forth game saw the two teams skate to a 5-5 draw. Leading the way for Tavistock was Mathew Walsh, Cole Corriveau, Brody Oliver and Josh Borys each with two points. Sam Roy made 26 saves in net.
Saturday night, the Braves were on the road in Paris. Another back and forth game saw Tavistock head to overtime for the second straight night. This time, however, Cole Corriveau scored 1:15 into overtime to seal the 5-4 win for the Braves. Jensen Van Boekel made 24 saves in net collecting his 20th win of the season.
Tavistock heads into the final weekend of the Regular Season one point behind first place Ayr and will host the Centennials this Friday for an 8:00 Puck Drop!
