Braves Enter 2018 in First Place

Friday December 27th, the Braves welcomed the Burford Bulldogs to town for their first game after Christmas, Tavistock scored early and often on their way to a 14-2 victory. Leading the way for the Braves was Carson MacRae with 3 goals and an assist. Sam Roy was solid in net making 18 saves.

On Saturday, Tavistock visited Delhi to take on the Travellers. In what was a hard-fought game, the Braves managed to escape with a 2-1 win. Delhi’s Brady Reid opened the scoring 14 minutes into the 1st period. Cole Corriveau would tie the game up scoring the lone goal in the 2nd period, assists going to Tanner Johnson and Josh Schindler. Carson MacRae would continue his big weekend notching the game winner on the powerplay from Corriveau late in the 3rd. Jensen Van Boekel came up big in net making 21 saves.

Tavistock’s next home game is Wednesday January 3rd vs the Ayr Centennials, puck drop is 7:30PM.
