The Fairfield University Hockey Team took part in Movember during the month of November to help raise money and awareness for men's health. This is the first time the Stags have done Movember as all the players grew out their mustaches for the entire month to try to help change the face of Men's health. They surpassed their goal of $3,000 as they were able to raise a total of $3,394.

All of the funds that were raised were donated to the Movember Foundation dedicated to help raise men's health awareness. The Movember foundation is dedicated to helping men from dying too young. As Movember is the only charity tackling men's health on a global scale, the donations money raised for the Movember Foundation will help the causes of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.
