The Tavistock Braves added to the win column racking up two more wins this weekend. Friday night in Norwich, after going behind 3-2 early in the third, the Braves exploded for 5 goals and skated away with a 7-5 win. Leading the way for Tavistock was Angus Rowland with 4 points (1G,3A) and Josh Borys with 3 points (2G,1A). Jensen Van Boekel made 32 saves in the win.

Saturday night, the Braves welcomed the New Hamburg Firebirds to town on alumni night. Tavistock’s Josh Borys opened the scoring 3:38 into the first period with assists coming from Angus Rowland and Jake Wiffen. With less than a minute left in the opening period, Angus Rowland would add another goal from Wiffen and Borys. New Hamburg would cut the Braves lead in half early into the second but Tavistock’s Ryan Donat would answer back with a goal assisted by Derek Hyde. Rowland and Borys would add another goal each in the third to seal a 5-2 win. Sam Roy was solid in net collecting his first win as a Brave.

The Braves next home game is Friday November 24th vs the Delhi Travellers. Puck drop is 7:30PM!
