The Braves earned another two points this weekend after splitting a pair of games.
Friday night, the Woodstock Navy Vets came to town for a rubber match after each earning a win in the previous two matches. Tavistock would open the scoring when Matt Walsh scored his 3rd goal of the season from Cole Corriveau and Zac Beg. Woodstock would go on to score the next 6 goals and left with a 6-2 victory. Jake Wiffen also scored for Tavistock, assists went to Angus Rowland and Zac Otto.
Saturday, the Braves bounced back in a big was as they visited the Burford Bulldogs and skated away with a 12-3 victory. Leading the way for Tavistock was Josh Borys with 7 points (3G, 4A) and Jake Wiffen (2G, 4A). Jensen Van Boekel was solid in net earning his 8th win of the season.
The Braves currently sit in third place in the Doherty Division with 24 points, 3 points back of second place Woodstock, Tavistock has played two fewer games.
