After dropping a 4-3 Overtime decision in New Hamburg last Saturday, the Braves bounced back with two more wins this weekend defeating the Burford Bulldogs and Norwich Merchants.

Friday night, the Braves welcomed Burford to town. After outshooting Burford 59-18, Tavistock came away with a 5-1 victory. Scoring for the Braves was Josh Borys, Reid Campbell, Angus Rowland, Zac Berg and Jake Wiffen. Assists went to Angus Rowland (x2), Tayler Trachsel, Josh Borys (x3), Ryan Donat, Kieran Van Boekel, Cole Corriveau and Kellen Gedies. Jensen Van Boekel made 17 saves for the win.

On Sunday, the Braves visited Norwich for an afternoon matchup with the Merchants. Tavistock opened the scoring in the first period and didn’t look back, earning a 6-1 victory. Scoring for the Braves was Zac Berg (x2), Cole Corriveau (x2), Angus Rowland and Jake Wiffen. Assists went to Corriveau, Jared Yantzi, Tayler Trachsel (x2), Matt Walsh, Ryan Donat, Derek Hyde, Rowland and Wiffen. Justin Osolnik was outstanding in net making 24 saves picking up the win.

The Braves have only one game this weekend as they welcome the Woodstock Navy Vets Friday October 20th, Puck Drop is 7:30PM!
