PARKHILL, ON – The North Middlesex Stars have announced today that Todd Garner is moving from the General Manager role into the Director of Hockey Operations role. Current Stars’ Assistant General Manager, Hayden Maass, will assume the duties as the General Manager of the Stars Hockey Club. Furthermore, Mike Poore will fill the position of Director of Game Day Operations.

“We are extremely excited to have Hayden back for another season,” said Garner. “He did a fantastic job with helping me out last season and made our first year together as a whole group that much easier. He did a lot to ensure the execution on game days, as well as our online presence, communicating with the OHA, media relations, scouting, and more. Hayden brings a wealth of knowledge, ideas as well as contacts right through nearly every level of hockey. We all look forward to working with him for another year.”

Maass, 23 from nearby London, ON just recently graduated from the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business at Fanshawe with an advanced diploma in Business Administration Marketing as well as a standard diploma in Business Marketing.

“I’m excited to be headed back to Parkhill for another season,” said Maass. “I’m from London, so it’s nice to get a little small town taste every Saturday night. I enjoy the community of Parkhill, and the people are so welcoming, it’s beginning to feel like a second home. Beyond that, I look forward to working alongside Todd in his new role, the coaching staff, scouts, volunteers and the players.”

Mike Poore is moving into the position of Director of Game Day Operations, a position left vacant by John Carroll's move to team trainer.

"Mike did a lot of this type of work for us last season," said Stars GM Hayden Maass. "He's a recognizable face in the community, and he's been around the team long enough to know our processes and how we like our game days executed. I'm excited to watch Mike excel in this role and look forward to hearing some of his ideas as we get into things this Saturday night."
