Okanagan Rockets Set to Host Icebreaker Exhibition Weekend Sept 8-10

The Okanagan Rockets are set to host a 12 team Exhibition Icebreaker at the Capital News Centre in Kelowna on Sept 8-10. Each team will play four exhibition games over the course of the weekend, and many teams use the Icebreaker to make decisions on final roster spots for the season.

 

The seven participating BCMML teams include the Okanagan Rockets, Thompson Blazers, Cariboo Cougars, Kootenay Ice, Valley West Hawks, North East Chiefs and Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.

 

There will be three CSSHL teams, which include Pursuit of Excellence, Edge Hockey Academy and North Alberta Xtreme.

 

In addition, there will be two teams from the NAPHL, which include the Wenatchee Wolves and Everett Jr. Silvertips.

 

The Rockets first game is on Friday, September 8th at 8:00 PM against the Valley West Hawks.
