The Aviators took an early lead and were able to win their mid week game against the non conference, the Kings.

 

On the Mound-

Matt Clark (Modesto JC) went 4 innings and struck out 8 hitters in this start. Nate Mcghee (Merced College) continued his dominant summer thus far as he tossed 4 frames, striking out 8 and not allowing a hit.

 

Game Summary-

Jesus Duran (Merced College) led the Atwater offense as he was 3-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI. Also, Alex Pallios (Merced College) had a solo homerun in this contest.

What's Next: Atwater takes on the South Bay Storm for a 6 game series to finish the season. The first game is Friday at 7 pm. As for the playoff race, the Aviators trail the Rams by 3 games entering the final series so each game is crucial.
