This is Brian Ho-Yee’s second year with the Victoria Blazers, only the second season of lacrosse he has ever played, and his second VSLL championship. Not bad if you ask me. Ho-Yee’s energized and tenacious style of play has been a welcome addition to the Blazers squad. You’ll usually find him levelling opponents with explosive hits in the defensive end, and basically learning the rules of the game through trial and error. Ho-Yee’s speed even earned him a highlight reel goal this year.

Ho-Yee grew up playing hockey and rugby, and has always had an interest in lacrosse. Experience in hard hitting physical sports proved to be an asset for Ho-Yee, helping him quickly transition to the defensive fundamentals of Canada’s National Summer Sport. A heck of a year overall for Ho-Yee, whose game keeps improving by leaps and bounds.
