The Aviators pulled off the series sweep against the Bees with a 12-5 victory Monday night.

 

On the Mound-

Joseph Saenz (uncommitted) earned the win in his start, tossing 5 innings of 5 run ball. Brady Mello (Merced College) threw 3 innings of shutout ball in relief with 3 strikeouts. 

 

Game Summary-

Mason Washington (Modesto JC) and Daniel Hermosillo (Simpson University) each had 2 hits and 3 RBI for Atwater. Hermosillo had two doubles. Other notables include Nikko Delgado (CSU Stanislaus) and Jesus Duran (Merced College) each scored 3 times. 

 

Kevin Miles was a bright spot for the Bees as he went 3-3 with 2 doubles, a walk and 2 runs.

What's Next: Atwater takes on the Kings in non-league play on July 19 at 7 pm. The game will be played at Fireman's Memorial park.
