California Bees at Atwater Aviators 7/11
Atwater swept the Bees for the second time in three days, by scores of 4-2 and 6-3.
Game 1
On the Mound-
Matt Thomas (Trinity University) was the starter for the Aviators, throwing 6 innings and limiting the Bees to 2 runs, none of those earned. Thomas struck out 5 hitters. In relief, Brayden Bebee (Henderson State) earned the save in his three inning outing. He did not allow a baserunner.
Eric Parnow started for California as he went 4 innings and surrendered 3 earned runs and walked 4.
Game Summary-
Jesus Duran (Merced College) led the Atwater offense as he was 2-3 with a walk and a RBI. Victor Tisacreno (Merced College) and Drew Gwerder (Holy Names University) smacked doubles.
The Bees had 6 different guys record one hit each in this game.

Game 2
On the Mound-
Joe Blair (CSU East Bay) earned the win in game 2, tossing 5 innings and giving up 3 runs although none were earned. Blair struck out 8 and only allowed one free pass. Matt Clark (Modesto JC) earned his first save of the summer for Atwater.
All 3 of the Bees pitchers went 2 innings and giving up 2 earned runs.
Game Summary-
Victor Tiscareno (Merced College) had a good game, hitting 2-3 with a walk, 2 runs scored and a RBI. Brad Bussard (Holy Names University) was 1-1, 2 walks and 2 RBI.
Young Lee and Eric Parnow each went 2-4 for California.
