Atwater Aviators at Reno Rams 6/26/2017
The Aviators took a tough walk off loss in game 1, then took a rough loss in the second as well.
Game 1
On the Mound-
Matt Thomas (Trinity University) threw 8+ strong innings, giving up 4 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits. Thomas started the ninth, but was not able to complete the game.
For Reno, Ty Hueckman started. He went 6 innings, allowing 6 runs (5 earned) but he struck out 7. Tyler Poe earned the win, only permitting one baserunner over his two innings.
Game Summary-
The Aviators were powered by three more homeruns in this game. This time around, Nikko Delgado (CSU Stanislaus), Jimmy Tatum (Trinity University) and Jackson Martin (Henderson State) hit long balls. Victor Tiscareno (Merced College) stayed hot with a 2-4 day with a run and RBI.
Ryne Edmondson led the Rams offense in game 1. He had two homeruns, including the walk off grand slam in the ninth. He was 3-5 with 5 RBI and 2 runs.

On the Mound-
Drew Stahl (Holy Names University) started for Atwater, but did not have his best game.
Brock Giannandrea started for the Rams, going 5 innings, only giving up 2 runs and striking out 6.
Game Summary-
Once again, Atwater was fueled by the long ball, homers by Mason Washington (Modesto JC), Pete Bizzini (Sonoma State University) and Ryan Fujinaga (Holy Names University).
Dylan Mansanarez led the Rams offense, going 2-3 with a walk, grand slam, 2 runs and 7 RBI.

What's Next: Atwater takes on Reno for another doubleheader on Tuesday the 26th. Joe Blair is expected to take the ball for game 1 as the Aviators look to get back in the win column.
