The Aviators won the first game of the series by a score of 14-7, fueled by five homeruns. 
 
On the Mound-
 
Joseph Saenz was the starting pitcher, going 4 innings as he allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits. In relief, Matt Clark (Modesto JC) tossed two shutout innings, striking out 2 and limiting the Rams to 2 hits. 
 
For the Rams, Dylan Mansanarez and Tyler Poe were the only pf the 8 pitcher to not allow a run in the game. 
 
Game Summary-
 
Atwater's offense was led by a power surge of homeruns. Five players had bombs, including: Nikko Delgado (CSU Stanislaus), Victor Tiscareno (Merced College), Jimmy Tatum (Trinity University), Brian Cardone (Trinity University) and Kevin Saenz Jr (South Mountain CC). Delgado, Tatum, Cardone and Saenz each had 2 runs, leading the team in that category. Tiscareno and Delgado had 3 RBI each. 
 
Reno's offense was led by Jashaun Simon and Sami Baig who each had 3 hits.

What's Next: Atwater and Reno square off for a doubleheader on Monday, withe game 1 starting at 10 and game 2 starting shortly after. Matt Thomas (Trinity University) and Drew Stahl (Holy Names University) will be the starting pitchers.
