Alumni show a glimpse into the bright future that can lay ahead for athletes willing to work for it. The Machine AAA Hockey Club embraces the philosophy that each player must have strong individual skills that support the overall goals and systems of the team. This philosophy paves the way for each Machine player to strive to achieve their personal goals and reach as high as they can to attain them. There is no magic that accomplishes dreams. But, hard work and discipline can provide the tools necessary to reach goals.

The five 99 MN Machine players, coached by Bernie McBain and his assistant coaches Rob Copeland and Ron Walker, that were drafted in the 2017 NHL draft were:

Grant Mismash - Nashville Predators
UND commit, USA NTDP player, Shattuck-St Marys, Edina Hockey Association

Clayton Phillips - Pittsburg Penguins
U of M Gophers commit, Fargo Force USHL, Edina High School, Edina Hockey Association

Scott Reedy - San Jose Sharks
