As day two begins to unfold it’s time for the hardware to start flying off the shelves.  It is now noon and the first champion of the day has been crowned.  Lots of single season awards have also been handed out; photos take – and smiles have been big.   

Rink coordinator Joe Rosmini, when asked his favorite thing about NAYRHL Championships, says “the excitement and rush to play for a Gold Medal after a long season.”  Now 20 years old and no longer eligible to play in the youth league, Joe likes to reflect on his playing days. “Watching NAYRHL and playing in NAYRHL are two very different things. I would love to go back to playing with my teammates, enjoying the game of roller hockey, and competing for a championship.”

Multiple champions will be crowned today and we look forward to awarding the winners of each division. As always, a huge thank you goes out to all the parents and coaches. Good luck to all teams as championship season is under way!
