The Montreal Canadiens announced today that they have signed Thomas Ebbing to a one-year contract for the 2017-18 season.

It’s a two-way contract (AHL/ECHL) for the 22-year-old Troy native and MSU alum.

A Brother Rice and Chicago Steel alum, Ebbing spent four seasons with the Spartans, logging 14 goals and 41 assists in 143 games.
