The Arizona State Sun Devils are excited to welcome transfer Ben Mack to the ACHA Hockey program. The defensemen hails from Des Plaines, IL joins the program after spending last season at Wisconsin Stevens Point (NCAA Div III). Mack was a highly touted junior recruit coming previously from the NA3HL, SJHL & AJHL. Ben totaled 181 GP 12 G 44 A 56 P and 508 PIM over the course of his junior career.

 

Ben is a physical defensemen who can play a shut down role as well as chip in offensively. "He will contribute big minutes right away and his presence on the back end will be known across the league. He is a key piece on our roster for our quest of a National Championship." - Head Coach, Josh Brown 

 

Mack says he looks forward to joining former junior teammate Dylan Ostertag next season and the desert lifestyle of "wearing shorts in December". He will be studying at the W.P. Carey School of Business with a concentration in Law.
