Fenton, MO – The Varsity 1 semifinal game one’s took place at the Fenton Forum Thursday night as #5 CBC took the 1-0 series lead over #1 Oakville with an 8-3 victory.  #2 DeSmet also won their game one with a commanding 11-3 win over #6 Rockwood to take a 1-0 series lead.  #1 Oakville and #5 CBC will matchup up game two and three (if nessassary) Friday night at 7pm in Fenton, while #2 DeSmet and #6 Rockwood will continue their series Saturday night at 10pm in Fenton.

The Varsity D2 semifinals were intense all the way to the end as #1 DeSmet defeated #4 Northwest 5-3 to advance to the Varsity D2 championship, and #2 Rockwood Summit squeaked by #3 Vianney by the score of 5-4.  #1 DeSmet and #2 Rockwood Summit will meet in the Varsity D2 championship game on Sunday, May 7th at 3:30pm at the Fenton Forum.

The C-Division quarterfinals took place at Midwest Sport Hockey on Thursday as #1 Fort Zumwalt West defeated #8 Fort Zumwalt North 7-2 and #3 Rockwood Summit took down #6 Fort Zumwalt South 4-2.  The C-Division game of the night was #5 CBC defeating #4 DeSmet 6-5 in overtime.  CBC’s MacKenzie Chapman netted the game winner just 20 seconds into the overtime period.  #1 Fort Zumwalt West will matchup against #5 CBC in the C-Division semifinals and #3 Rockwood Summit will await the winner of #2 Oakville and #7 Francis Howell on Friday night.

There was one Varsity 3 quarterfinal game that took place Thursday night at Midwest Sport Hockey as #2 Affton advanced to the V3 semifinals with a 11-5 victory over #7 Duchesne.
