Fenton, MO – The Varsity 1 quarterfinals took place at the Fenton Forum on Tuesdays night.  The #6 Rockwood Summit Falcons had the 1-0 series lead against the #3 Francis Howell North Knights heading into game two.  The Falcons defeated the Knights 6-4 and advanced to the V1 semifinals.  With the #5 CBC Cadets taking game one from #4 Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs; FZS had to win game two to force a game three and they did just that.  The Bulldogs won game two 13-7 but fell 5-1 to the Cadets in game three.  #1 Oakville punched their ticket to the V1 semis with a 9-4 victory over #8 Holt and #2 DeSmet advanced with a 10-5 win over #7 Fox.  The V1 final four is set with #5 CBC squaring off against #1 Oakville and #6 Rockwood taking on #2 DeSmet.

The C-Division second round games also took place on Tuesday at Midwest Sport Hockey in Ballwin, MO.  #5 CBC advanced to the quarterfinals with a 4-1 win over #13 Northwest and #6 Fort Zumwalt South defeated #11 Affton 9-0 to move on as well.  #7 Francis Howell advanced with a 7-3 victory over #10 Vianney and #8 Fort Zumwalt North moved on with a 7-3 win over #9 Seckman.  The C-Division quarterfinals are set; #1 Fort Zumwalt West will faceoff against #8 Fort Zumwalt North, #3 Rockwood Summit will take on #6 Fort Zumwalt South, #4 DeSmet will square off against #5 CBC, and #2 Oakville will matchup against #7 Francis Howell.
