BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Petr Panacek registered a hat trick Sunday afternoon, and the Butte Cobras completed a three-game sweep of the Bellingham Blaze with a 9-1 WSHL victory. Stats

Jacob Rudloff, Chance Aquino, Daniel Armstrong, Joel Johnson, Jan Marcilis and Augusts Veidenbaums added goals in the victory as the Cobras improved to 26-17-2.

Veidenbaums, Marcilis and Vaclav Beran each added three assists, while Earl Webb assisted on two goals.

Jaiden Laporte scored the lone goal for the Blaze, who fell to 13-35-1. The sweep was the second of the season over the Blaze by the Cobras.

Butte outshot Bellingham 4517, and Henrik Kaspersen picked up the win between the pipes.

The Cobras are back in action Friday when they open a three-game home set against the Vancouver Rangers.
