2017 AIH Senior Scholarship

Senior Players:   

Abington Ice Hockey Club Board of Directors would like to make you aware of a yearly scholarship(s) to be given to a graduating senior(s) from Abington Senior High School.  This scholarship(s) will be based on the financial stability of the club and the number of graduating seniors eligible for the scholarship(s).
 

    The following requirements must be met in order for a student to be eligible for the scholarship.

 

  1. Student must have played for Abington Ice Hockey Club for a minimum of 2 years (Please list # of years on essay)

  2. Student must submit required info and essay to the Abington Ice Hockey Club Board by March 27th of senior year.

  3. Student must be graduating in year they are eligible.

  4. Student must be planning to attend college or higher education facility (Including technical schools). Also include this information with your essay.

 

The following criteria will be used in the application process:

 
  1. A written essay (minimum one page) describing how Abington Ice Hockey has impacted the student’s life.

     

  2. Class rank and grade point average – student will include a copy of the final report card from the junior year and a copy of the mid year report card from senior year

 

The final decision will be made by the Board of Directors- Steve Schorr (President), Alicia Large, Rob Gerlach, Eric Tufman, Tracy Panella, Tim Panella, Bruce Kramer, Lori Kramer, Larry Miller and Rob Gerlach.
