The SPHL announced today that Sean Bonar had been named the Bauer Player of the Week for the period of January 23-29. Bonar won both of his starts during that stretch while posting a 1.99 goals against average and a .938 save percentage. The FireAntz took down the Knoxville Ice Bears twice and extended their winning streak to three games. 

Bonar now leads all SPHL goalies in wins, shutouts, minutes played and goals against average. He has started all but 4 games for the FireAntz this season
