Meet #2, Junior Eric Miller

Date:  Source: SHSHL: Abington Ghosts

This season is Eric Miller's third with the Ghosts. He is a positionally sound player that has no trepidation about falling back to the blue line if the play calls for it or jumping into a battle along the boards with someone twice his size. Eric netted his first Varsity goal in the first game of 2017, but has averaged a point a game this season.

Eric's favorite subject is science and he hopes to attend the University of Delaware. He loves football, Bruce Springstein (he even sang on stage with him once!) and his favorite NHLer is Claude Giroux.

Eric started playing hockey when he was eight years old. His favorite hockey memory is this team's come from behind win to beat Arch Bishop Wood on Senior Night last year.  The thing he likes the most about Abbypuck is that the boys all see each other every day at school, which allows them to become closer as a team. The teammate he admires  most is Kyle Burke because "he always gives 100% on every shift no matter what happens."  Along with quite a few other players, Eric's goal for the team this season is to make it to the Flyer's Cup.

Eric's dedication and steady consistency is relied on by the coaches and his teammates. Next year he will be an important part of the senior leadership group.
