The 2016-2017 season is Alek Hulayev's second with the Ghosts. Last season, as a new comer to the club and to ice hockey, Alek impressed everyone with how quickly he learned the game. Alek gives it his all every single shift he's on the ice and he never shies away from a battle in the corners or along the boards--even when the opponent is a monster.

Alek's favorite subject is physics, but he's not quite sure where he wants to go to college. He loves all genres of music and might just have a chance with his celebrity crush, since it looks like Brad Pitt dropped the ball. Alek loves boxing, and is a well-rounded athlete that is always up to try new things. His favorite NHLer is the one and only Jakub Voracek.

Alek's favorite hockey memory was defeating Arch Bishop Wood on last year's Senior Night in the last game of the season (that's a great memory!) His favorite thing about Abbypuck is his teammates. Alek admires Captain, Thomas Panella because of his steady leadership. His own personal goal for the season is to get a goal--though he's already had a few assists on the scoresheet.

Alek is a solid player that always works hard for his teammates, and another of our Junior's that will be leading the team next season.
