Buffalo, NY- New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs alum Brian Flynn has agreed to terms with the Buffalo Sabres, signing a one-year entry level contract earlier today.

Flynn recently completed a stellar career at the University of Maine, playing in 153 games and scoring 69 goals and adding 87 assists. His 156 points place him eleventh all time among Maine’s scoring leaders. This past season, he tallied 48 points (18 goals, 30 assists) and was named to the All-Hockey East First Team. He won the Hockey East Len Ceglarski Sportsmanship Award as a junior.

He scored 26 goals, good enough for sixth in the EJHL, and added 19 assists for 45 total points in 41 games.

Flynn will play the rest of the season with the Rochester Americans, Buffalo’s AHL affiliate.
