The first of three events wrapped up in Burlington this past Thanksgiving/Columbus Day weekend where 12 Elite Mite teams squared off in the 2008 and 2009 birth years. 

It was fun to see the future of Independent Hockey on display at Wave Arenas in Burlington. The teams coming from Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, put on a display of hockey that left all their parents exhausted from cheering! This invitation-only event highlights the best of the Mite Division and they showed why they were chosen to participate by provided some excellent hockey.

We congratulate our champions from Heartland Nationals at the 2009 age and the Pittsburgh Jets at the 2008 age. 

The next event moves to Chicago November 2-4 and then Detroit January 14-16.
