Bighorns Look to Bounce Back After Loss to Bozeman

A ‘home-and-home series’ is where two teams split the home ice advantage between two consecutive games between each other. This weekend, The Bighorns and Jr Bruins are doing just that.

Friday night’s tilt in Missoula marks the first game the Jr Bruins will play at home this season, marking the start of a new era in junior hockey at the Glacier Ice Arena; this is the first season an NA3HL team will play its home schedule. The game begins at 7:30pm.

The first game between this renewed rivalry was played out in Helena on September 16th, with the Bighorns putting away the Bruins in a shoot-out. Coach Bob Richards expects >>>>>>>>>>>

Missoula offers Helena fans a great deal at their ticket gate- just $5 entry to the game so long as the fans are wearing Bighorns apparel. The Bruins brought almost 60 fans to opening night in Helena.

Saturday, October 1st is the Bighorns turn to host the home game. These two teams will clash heavily in the first half of the schedule, but will not play each other after December. Puck drops on Saturday night here at home at 7:05pm.

Fans in Missoula and Helena alike can expect some tough game play from both teams.
