Cape Cod Readies for Weekend Series with Binghamton

The Cape Cod Islanders (3-1) will the Binghamton Jr. Senators (4-0) this weekend in Falmouth. (Saturday 5:30 pm, Sunday 11:40 am)  The Islanders have been battle tested so far this season with three of their first four games being on the road.  But there is no rest for the weary as the Jr. Senators head to town for a pair. 

The Senators are lead by high scoring forward Ryan Flanagan and Steve Aponik on defense.  Salvatore Lauretta has an unblemished record in net as he sits at 2-0 with a 2.00 GAA.

The Islanders are lead by newcomer Nash Braun who has 1 g 5 a for 6 pts and Nick Dulac on the blueline with 1 g 4 a 5 pts.  Anton Zemba has seen the bulk of the work in net with a 2-1 record with a 2.05 GAA.

"This weekend will be a huge test for us, Binghamton is a very good team and they have some guys who can realy put the puck in the net." coach Punsky said "We need to find our consistency and get some guys going, we have worked hard all week on our team game and hope the hard work pays off this weekend."
