August 4, 2016- For the first time in team history, the Helena Bighorns Hockey Club is offering their fans a chance to appear on over 5,000 printed tickets this year through the “Bighorns Fans Ticket Takeover Contest”.

The contest, presented by local social media marketing agency Imaginbound Media, invites fans to submit a photo at helenabigorns.com for a chance to appear on all printed tickets for Bighorns Season Ticket Holders.

 The “Top 5” fan-submitted photos will then be presented to Bighorns fans for voting on their official Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/HelenaBighornsHockeyClub), where the photo with the most fan votes will win.

The grand prize winner, in addition to being featured on the tickets, will be presented with an autographed, game-worn jersey and offered the chance to drop the puck at one home game this season.

The contest begins Thursday, August 4 and submissions to the Bighorns website will be closed by Wednesday, August 10 at 11:59pm. Fan voting on the “Top 5” photos will begin Thursday, August 11 on Facebook and the winner will be announced Friday, August 19.

“We’ve really wanted to dedicate this entire season to our amazing fans,” said Brad Ouldhouse, Director of Marketing for the Helena Bighorns. “You’ll see them represented on all of our printed schedule materials this year, and we thought this contest was a great way to get the fans involved in this celebration. Without these fans and their loyalty, the Bighorns would not have lasted these past 15 seasons, so giving back is what we are all about this year.”

The Bighorns open their 2016-’17 season at the Helena Ice Arena on Friday, September 16, 2016, hosting the expansion Missoula Junior Bruins; puck drops at 7:05pm.
