The bats were busy at Kiger Stadium on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the South Bay Storm (24-20) had a 24-13 win over the Klamath Falls Gems (16-27).
The two teams combined for 38 hits in the game.
The South Bay Storm blew out the Klamath Falls Gems thanks to 23 hits, including zero extra base hits. Ben Tinnel (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 14 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.
The South Bay Storm hammered the Klamath Falls Gems pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 22 hits, 20 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
