The North Shore Navigators (19-24) and the Seacoast Mavericks (28-13) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the North Shore Navigators that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-0 win at Leary Field.
Nick Malatesta got the win for the North Shore Navigators thanks to five strikeouts. The North Shore Navigators' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only five hits.
Ryan Guerra (1-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
