The Nevada Big Horns (21-24) didn't stand a chance on Friday, as the Sacramento Heat (17-29) captured a blowout 7-1 win at McAuliffe Field.

Blake Edmonson racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sacramento Heat. He homered in the fifth inning, singled in the seventh inning, and doubled in the eighth inning.

Justin Kottinger racked up seven strikeouts in the the Sacramento Heat win. Kottinger allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Justin Contreras (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
