Powers allows no runs to lead the Seacoast Mavericks past the Bristol Blues 11-1

Mitchell Powers kept the Bristol Blues (20-22) off the board during his six innings of work and the Seacoast Mavericks (28-13) beat the Bristol Blues, 11-1.

Powers allowed two hits, no walks and struck out four.

The offense exploded for the the Seacoast Mavericks in the fourth. The Seacoast Mavericks' bats caught fire leading to nine runs. The Seacoast Mavericks scored in the fourth on a two-run home run by Jeremiah Adams, an RBI single by Marshall Gei, a three-run home run by Michael Hart, and a three-run home run by Oliver Francis.

Hart racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Seacoast Mavericks.

Paul Versteeg (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
