Evan Klugerman knocked in three runs, helping the Torrington Titans (9-15) to an 11-7 victory over the Brockton Rox (11-14) on Wednesday at Campanelli Stadium.

The Brockton Rox couldn't get anything going so long as Lizandro Cruz was on the hill. Cruz held the Brockton Rox hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Jack Lambrecht put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Brockton Rox. He tripled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

The Torrington Titans' lineup had no answer for Weston Clemente. Clemente held the Torrington Titans hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

David Griffin (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
