The Atwater Aviators (9-11) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Nevada Big Horns (8-12) captured a blowout 12-5 win at North Tahoe Park.

A two-run single by Zachary Muenster and a two-run home run by Dylan Sharon helped the Nevada Big Horns score four runs in the eighth. The Nevada Big Horns had four hits in the inning.

Muenster racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Nevada Big Horns.

The Atwater Aviators couldn't get anything going as long as Sharon was pitching. Sharon held the Atwater Aviators hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Kolin Kubitz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Atwater Aviators. He singled in the second inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Chris Petrosie recorded his first win of the year for the Nevada Big Horns. He allowed three runs over six innings. Petrosie struck out six, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Eddie Machado was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.
